ActionScript 3.0 flash, need dropdown menus
Posted by FluidServers, 02-16-2011, 01:23 PM i have a flash player app that plays video streams, what i need it to do is to there is two input boxes on it the first box i want to make invisible, because it does not need to be edited or seen, the second box i want to make into a drop down menu, so we can pick things from a list instead of typing the file name into it.. and I'd like to have the list mask the names for instance, instead of saying mp4ample.mp4 it should say Sample Video, but should still pass mp4ample.mp4 through the client in the background on a side note i'd like the thing to be a bit bigger, bust still keep a wide screen aspect ratio, but, i can probably figure that one out myself i have tried everything to get this to work, everything i try breaks the actionscript i hope i have provided enough info, i will upload the fla here i cant post links here, =/ so pm me and i'll give you the link to the fla
