2 questions about setting up domain registry on my site!
Posted by 21inchguns, 09-13-2001, 09:32 AM Hi there, I just have two questions regarding setting up domain registration on my website....... 1) If I take a bulk account with Stargate, will the API also take care of billing the customer etc....eg: do I just put it on my site, and then users can sign up through my site and the transaction will be processed automatically by stargate.... 2) If stargate does not take care of billing, and I just integrate an option of purchasing a domain with hosting packages on my site, this will not allow me to register that domain immediately, therefore I am concerned with issues that the domain they chose may get registered before I get the chance to set up their account and register the domain myself.....I realise there is only a very small chance of this happening, but I am just trying to cover all bases. I would appreciate any other info regarding this issue, ie: how are some of you guys implementing domain registration on your sites...... Thanks again to everyone here.........
