php script security issues
Posted by CleverWebHost, 09-15-2008, 01:12 PM i am on a shared server with php script security issues .....i have been suspended for spamming (was not me) which only happen after i brought a website from ebay and the guy offered to setup for me (yes i no now but am a newbie)....people keep saying basic step for security ....what are they or were can i get NEWBIE info ..to secure my php website....Cheers

If you've given access out to your shared hosting account and a stranger has run a script that spams, remove the site, change the password and don't give out login details to a stranger off ebay again..

There are no easy answers. It could be a single issue, or it could be just one of literally thousands of issues. More information is needed.
