GoDaddy.com has NO support whatsoever. I sent a message 3 weeks ago, never got a reply...

Did you go thru their on-line support desk? Also, I think they have phone support for a fee.

I havent had a problem with godaddy support and we have 5 domains with them. We have used there support and they always answer. The only thing I don't like is the email we get following a domain registration.. gerrr!

From memory, you might get better pricing with stargateinc. 20-50 - $8 per year 51-150 - $7.75 151-250- $7.50 250+ $7.25 I think you might get as little as $6.5 from stargateinc if you purchase more.

I've registered a few with them, and have to say that junk mail they send is a bit uncalled for. Granted it may be one of the ways they provide domains so cheap, but still.... lacks a little professionalism. Greg Moore

Maybe I'm missing something, lucky, or just clueless... But I'm not sure what you mean by godaddy junk mail. Other than all the various, "We received your request", "We're processing your request", "We've processed your request" emails, I don't think I have received anything else directly from them. Are they selling off email addresses, or am I just lucky that I've somehow missed out on something?

godaddy charges for a lot of services that others offer for free. one such charge i found is that it prices 49.95 to change the registrant.

That's the reason I've started using stargate more. Many things godaddy charges for; stargate does for free.

Stargate is the best for me though godaddy has done nothing wrong for me. another good professional registrar is gandi- which charges $10+
