Posted by ~ServerPoint~, 06-26-2008, 08:47 AM Turck MMCache and ionCube PHP Accelerator are now discontinued, although it is still widely used. APC and eAccelerator are stable and actively maintained. I would recommend them.

Posted by stanosf, 06-26-2008, 03:54 PM how many scripts? lots of random ones (many vhosts) or a few primary ones? if just a few you really want to get them in ram asap. if a lot, use one of the pre-compiling solutions at a minimum.
